Böker Plus
Böker Plus is where Solingen meets modern knife design. The line was created so Böker could work with designers from around the world without touching the traditional Manufaktur catalogue, and that freedom shows.
Names like Bob Terzuola, Chad Los Banos and Jesper Voxnaes have all put their handwriting on Plus models. The result is a catalogue that runs from the slim Urban Trapper, which disappears in a shirt pocket, to the Kwaiken with its Japanese lines, to no nonsense tactical fixed blades.
Production sits outside Solingen, which is exactly why the prices work. You get current steels, thought through ergonomics and smooth pivots at a level that used to cost a lot more.
For a first Plus knife, the Kwaiken Flipper and the Urban Trapper are the safest bets. Both are light, flat and easy to carry every day.
