'The Dönges Basic series is intentionally designed in a compact, standard pocket-knife size, making it suitable for everyday carry and general cutting tasks, while remaining a ready professional rescue tool in emergencies. All three models share robust features: anodized 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum handle scales with a non-slip Dönges honeycomb texture; 440A stainless steel blades with a biting half-shaft and ball-bearing pivots; a glass breaker; a belt cutter; and a sturdy steel clip for tip-down/right-side carry. The Tactical variant’s tanto blade is aimed at law enforcement and military users and can be opened by either a finger flipper or thumb stud. Both handle and blade have a uniform black finish.'
