Work Sharp Blade Grinding Attachment

'This attachment for the Ken Onion Edition of the Knife and Tool Sharpener expands the belt grinder’s capabilities, making it suitable for heavy rework and for all blade sharpening and dressing tasks. Its variable geometry and adjustable belt angle (10°–35°) allow grinding from crowned profiles to nearly flat shapes and can also be used for contour grinding. \n\nThis attachment is recommended only for experienced users: the blade is guided by hand on the preset belt angle rather than running through a guide. A flat support in the home position aids control. Belt speeds range from 1,200 to 2,800 sfm (surface feet per minute). \n\nNote that the blade grinder attachment is not intended to grind blades completely from blanks. It ships with one 1" x 18" belt each in grits X65, X22, X4, and P12,000 micro-mesh. The attachment cannot be used alone; the Ken Onion Edition of the Knife and Tool Sharpener is required.'
