Boker Plus Cataclyst Flipjoint Damast

'The Boker Plus Cataclyst combines a contemporary EDC with the refinement of a gentleman’s knife and is also available in a Damascus version with 110 layers throughout. The robust blade, featuring a flat grind and a groove on both sides, deploys on ball bearings via a flipper. It uses a flip-joint mechanism rather than a lock and is held open by a detent ball; the blade can be folded by applying pressure to the back of the blade without releasing a locking device. To remove any legal uncertainty about carrying the Cataclyst Brown Damascus Flipjoint, a declaratory ruling was obtained: the BKA (Z-524) concurs that the detent ball does not constitute a manual locking device under the Weapons Act. Jimping on the thumb rest and the backspacer improves handling safety. The straight-lined handle features three-dimensionally milled Micarta front scales in light brown, and the right-side grip and deep-carry tip-up clip are also machined from solid material with a satin finish.
