We used their extensive experience and daily practical insights into cooks’ needs to shape the Boker Core series, combining that feedback with nearly 150 years of expertise as a Solingen knife manufacturer.\n\nThe result is a knife with dynamic lines, excellent balance and exceptional cutting performance, awarded the quality rating "recommended by leading retailers." The solid blade blank is made from a chromium-molybdenum-vanadium alloy (X50CrMoV15), ideal for premium kitchen knives. Each blank is hand-forged in Solingen, structurally refined and hardened to 58 HRC. To extend service life and achieve an even finer edge, the traditional hand grind is highly polished.\n\nA forged bolster provides a secure grip and protects the user in case of a slip. A distinctive feature across the series is the gently rounded spine, which makes the knife comfortable to hold in any position and prevents pressure points on the hand—even when applying strong force during a rocking chop. The well-proportioned synthetic handles are practical and highly moisture-resistant, making these knives suitable for professional kitchens where hygiene standards are paramount.\n\nThe peeling or paring knife is particularly useful thanks to its short blade. It handles small kitchen tasks with ease, especially paring fruits and vegetables and cutting close to the skin.
