'The Böker Core paring knife, with a 7 cm blade, has a fine grind that makes it easy to slice soft fruit or firm apples into thin, even pieces. The new Böker Core kitchen series is made from high-quality materials: the blades are produced from X50CrMoV15, a premium German stainless steel ideally suited for kitchen knives. Each knife is hand-forged in Solingen and hardened to 58 HRC, then finished with a satin surface and a sharp, polished edge. The spine of every blade is slightly rounded, so there are no sharp angles and the knife feels comfortable in a variety of grips.
