The Edgerati was designed by Spyderco co-founder Sal Glesser, who drew on his love of racing to create a distinctive knife. Its geometric, skeletonized handle—inspired by the tubular frame of the Maserati Tipo 61—is machined from solid aircraft-grade aluminum and hard-anodized for a blend of strength, light weight, secure grip, and striking style. The open-frame construction leaves the compression lock clearly visible. The flat-ground blade, made from CPM S30V stainless steel for excellent edge retention, deploys via the thumb hole and the knife includes a reversible tip-up pocket clip.
