'A few years ago, tactical expert Ed Calderon led one of his signature courses at TOPS Knives and, after discussions with TOPS president Leo Espinoza, they agreed that a knife designed by Ed and built by TOPS would be exceptional. The result is the El Pionero, a tactical knife modeled on a paring knife. Featuring a 1095 carbon steel blade and an all-black finish, it is suitable for everyday carry and tactical use.
