A do-it-all, slim stunner—US knife designer Lucas Burnley’s Boker Kihon Bifold 42a translates the Japanese concept of kihon into both form and philosophy. Kihon denotes the fundamentals and basic techniques of Japanese martial arts, and the knife channels the peaceful, spiritual side of that idea in a solid, two-handed design. Its styling adds refined polish to practical performance, creating an ideal balance for everyday cutting tasks. The drop-point blade, forged from powder-metallurgy CPM MagnaCut (61–62 HRC) with a satin finish, delivers exceptional stability, edge retention, corrosion resistance and toughness. Opening and locking are intuitive via a nail nick and backlock, while the one-piece stainless-steel handle made with the bifold method is iconic. Supplied with a lanyard hole, an adjustable tip-up pocket clip and plenty of drive.
