Kihon, which refers to fundamentals and basic techniques in Japanese martial arts, is translated here into a rugged, practical everyday knife that emphasizes utility and excellent value. The satin-finished D2 drop-point blade rides on ball bearings and opens smoothly via a removable thumb stud, while the crossbar lock provides a secure, intuitive release. The 2.0 versions shed 15% of the weight, making them well-suited as lightweight full-size EDCs. The non-slip handle, featuring a textured square pattern, is molded from high-strength GFN for a comfortable grip. Blue anodized rings around the blade pivot and large handle screw add a refined accent. The knife includes a lanyard hole and a convertible tip-up wire clip for flexible carry options.'
