'American custom knifemaker Lucas Burnley applies the Japanese concept of "Kihon" to the design of the Boker Plus Kihon DC. Originally referring to the fundamentals of Japanese martial arts, Kihon is reflected here in a solid, no-nonsense everyday knife. Its simple, functional design and features make it ideally suited for daily cutting tasks. The satin-finished drop-point blade is made from Nitro-V steel—known for edge retention and corrosion resistance—and deploys smoothly on ball bearings via a removable thumb stud. A crossbar slide-lock provides intuitive, secure unlocking. The full-size EDC is comfortable and well balanced in hand thanks to its high-strength aluminum handle with a recessed square pattern. Blue anodized rings on the blade pivot and handle screws and a matching thumb stud add a touch of flair. It includes a lanyard hole and a convertible tip-up wire clip for flexible carry options.'
