'According to legend, the dwarf Dvalin—one of four master smiths—forged the necklace Brisingamen for the Germanic goddess of love, Freya. In Norse mythology the jewel is linked to magic and love, but also sorrow; Freya’s tears in the heavens were said to guarantee abundant harvests on earth. The anger of Odin, the father of the gods, often dragged the goddess into conflicts that sparked wars among humans. Dirk Hofmeister of Midgards Messer drew on Norse blacksmithing to design the sturdy Boker Plus Little Dvalin. This fixed-blade knife stands out for its compact size and solid spearpoint blade in D2 steel, finished with a dark grey titanium coating and a pronounced hollow groove. Jimping on the spine provides a secure thumb rest for demanding cutting tasks. The well-shaped, partially serrated G10 handle fits securely in the hand, and you can easily print alternative handle scales in a variety of shapes, colours and materials using a standard 3D printer. Includes a lanyard hole, belt clip and a high-quality Kydex sheath.'
