The NAND, designed by Dr. Paul Alexander—a mechanical engineering PhD and passionate knife aficionado—adds to the SLIPIT line of non-locking folding knives. Like a traditional straight razor, it can be opened one-handed using the "tail." Once open, two ball-bearing locks in the handle frame stabilize the blade sides. This non-locking ball-joint system, the hand-encompassing back of the blade, and the generous handle scales provide an exceptionally secure grip. The NAND features a fully flat-ground M398 stainless steel blade with a classic thumb hole. Its solid titanium handle scales are precision-machined and house a reversible wire clip for tip-up carry on either side.
