'From a blank sheet to its first appearance in the EDC world, Polish custom knifemaker David Hás of Cronos Knives guided the Böker Plus Pollywog through its entire metamorphosis. Inspired by nature, the designer lovingly modeled this fixed-blade knife after a tadpole in both shape and composition. The drop-point blade with a satin finish calls to mind the tadpole’s oar-like tail and—thanks to the excellent Nitro-V steel—lets the neck knife handle everyday tasks with precision. Nitro-V offers outstanding edge retention and low corrosion susceptibility, making even small outdoor cutting jobs effortless. Jimping on the thumb rest and the stable full-tang construction ensure maximum precision and control. The contoured G10 handle scales, with ergonomic finger grooves, add extra comfort. A hollow rivet at the end of the handle—evocative of a tadpole’s eyes—serves as a lanyard hole. For secure, stylish carry the knife comes with a fitted Kydex sheath, a ball chain, and a lanyard.'
