Hultafors Premium Felling Axe Aby 0.7

The Åby forest axe blends several classic axe styles: it has a straight cutting edge and grind plus a pronounced finger recess beneath the head for enhanced control. A long, slim ergonomic handle reduces weight while delivering powerful strikes, making the axe ideal for building shelters, preparing firewood, carving and other precision tasks. Hand-forged from carbon steel at the Hults Bruk forge—whose blacksmithing tradition dates back to 1697—the axe is named for Åby, the nearby village where many workers lived in the mid-20th century. The curved handle is crafted from shock-resistant American hickory for comfortable, fatigue-free use, and the axe is supplied with a high-quality leather sheath.
