CRKT Provoke Aluminum Green

Joe Caswell pulled off a real innovation with the CRKT Provoke: its Kinematic mechanism is like no other pocket knife. The hawkbill blade is mounted on two moving arms and doesn't rotate around a traditional pivot; instead it swings out parallel to the handle and locks in place. The karambit-style blade is released by a lever built into the handle, and the action is so simple and intuitive that safe, rapid deployment is assured. This version features green aluminum handle scales, perfectly matched to the Cerakote finish on the D2 blade. The rounded pocket clip stays unobtrusive during use but can be nudged from its parking position with light finger pressure to stow the knife. The Provoke’s unique design demonstrates that fundamental innovation in folding knives is still possible.
