'Joe Caswell made a splash with the CRKT Provoke: its Kinematic mechanism is unlike any other pocket knife. The hawkbill blade is mounted on two moving arms and, rather than pivoting on a single axis, swings out parallel to the handle and locks in place. A lever hidden in the handle releases the karambit-style blade. The action is so simple and intuitive that it ensures safe, fast handling. In this version the handle scales are white Grivory, which pairs perfectly with the stonewashed AUS-8 blade. The rounded pocket clip stays unobtrusive during use but can be released from its parked position with light finger pressure to stow the knife.
