'When the TSA briefly considered allowing knives back on airplanes, Spyderco created the Roadie to comply with the proposed guidelines. The full-size Roadie XL retains all the hallmark features of the smaller model, including a non-locking notched-joint opening, a textured index-finger choil, and contoured injection-molded FRN handle scales. Its fully flat-ground sheepfoot blade is made from M398 stainless steel and incorporates the Double Dent design—two matching indentations that give a secure one-handed opening. The Roadie XL is larger overall and adds a wire clip for comfortable pocket carry.'
