'The Boker Scout has been closely associated with our name since 1985. Whether anyone at the time expected this pocketknife to become one of our most successful and popular models is impossible to say, but its survival through many short-lived trends—common in the knife market—is remarkable. Although the Scout has appeared in more variants than any other model, its core specifications have remained unchanged. Its exceptionally sturdy frame is made from a single sintered piece of nickel silver. The hollow-ground blade, forged by Böhler from stainless N690, and its distinctive shape contribute to the Scout’s unmistakable appearance. A classic backlock secures the blade when open—the spine locks into a notch on the back of the blade, and you press the exposed part of the spine to close it. The Scout’s harmonious, classic look is completed by ergonomically shaped handle scales of warm-toned, certified imported Thuja wood.'
