'The Sprocket for the Pocket, designed by Henning Marxen, combines clean lines and minimalist eccentricity with dynamic functionality in a timeless design. The Boker Plus Sprocket is more than a pocketknife—it’s a compact assembly of interlocking elements that mesh like a well-lubricated gearbox. Its cleaver-style blade, crafted from D2 steel with a pared-back stonewash finish, opens silky-smooth via a thumb hole and is intentionally non-locking. A modern detent-slipjoint mechanism holds the blade: ball detents press against the blade inside the textured, non-slip G10 handle, requiring deliberate clamping force to open and close. The standout feature is a double-joint, two-piece handle where the blade opens in the usual way and the rear handle scales swing out to extend the front scales, delivering a balanced feel, impressive sharpness and maximum compactness—when closed the folder’s length is fully contained within the rear handle.'
