Helle Viking

'The Viking is a revision of a Helle classic originally produced as part of a fundraiser for an around-the-world expedition in a Viking longship. Its barrel-shaped handle is slightly tapered to provide a distinct grip even without contouring. It combines simple beauty with a design over a thousand years old and has become a modern classic. The knife features a thick laminated carbon-steel blade with a black finish straight from heat treatment. A narrow tang runs through the handle and is secured in the traditional manner with a pin and diamond-shaped washer. The Viking comes with a traditional back-stitched leather sheath with a belt loop.'
