Dönges Basic Rescue

'The Dönges Basic series is intentionally sized like a conventional pocket knife—compact enough for everyday carry and general cutting tasks, yet sturdy enough to serve as a professional rescue tool in emergencies. All three models share anodized 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum handle scales with a non-slip Dönges honeycomb texture; durable 440A stainless steel blades with a partially serrated section and ball-bearing pivots; a glass breaker; a seatbelt cutter; and a sturdy steel clip for tip-down, right-side carry. The Dönges Basic Rescue features a sheepfoot blade optimized for rescue work, enabling clothing to be cut with minimal risk to injured persons. The blade has large, protruding flats for easy two-handed opening, and the 6061 aluminum handle scales are anodized in SAR orange.'
