Boker Boxer Damast

Boker Boxer Damast

The Boker Boxer, designed by Raphaël Durand of Thiers, is a classic two-hand opening knife with wide appeal. This refined version features a dark Dragonskin Damascus blade forged by Bertie Rietveld and hardened to 58 HRC. Rietveld, a South African custom knifemaker regarded as his country’s first Damascus smith, has produced high-performance Damascus with distinctive patterns since 1991. The blade is secured by a robust backlock and includes a generous ricasso. Decorative stainless steel bolsters display Raphaël Durand’s signature groove, while polished red burlap micarta handle scales offer a comfortable grip. Its compact dimensions strike an ideal balance between pocketability and everyday versatility and include a reinforced lanyard hole. Handmade at Boker’s Solingen manufactory, the knife is delivered with an individual serial number in an elegant floating display and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
