Boker Damascus Olive Office Knife

Boker Damascus Olive Office Knife

The Boker Damascus Olive kitchen knife line pairs traditional Japanese-style handles made from locally sourced olive wood with razor-sharp stainless Damascus blades of 37 layered steel, showing a striking grain pattern. The durable core of each blade is premium VG-10 steel, which provides exceptional hardness, resilience and a uniform crystalline structure. The handle’s Japanese silhouette and matte stainless steel ferrule give the knives a distinctive look.\n\nDesigned with a push-tang construction, these knives are prized by professional chefs and ambitious home cooks alike because they slice delicate foods without crushing or bruising. Minutely precise cuts—such as finely chopped herbs—release far fewer oils, preserving aroma, and the knives’ sharpness even makes cutting onions less tear-inducing. In independent testing under DIN EN ISO 8442-5 against an established Solingen kitchen knife, the Boker Damascus Olive line delivered 68% better cutting performance and showed superior initial sharpness, reducing the need for frequent honing.\n\nThe paring knife in the range is especially handy: its short blade is ideal for small kitchen tasks and for paring fruits and vegetables or cutting close to the skin.
