'The Heckler & Koch FD01 and FD02 are no-nonsense tactical automatic folding knives designed for pure functionality. Their dependable side-opening mechanism, coil spring and button lock—proven in hundreds of thousands of Kalashnikov and Boker Plus switchblade deployments over more than a decade—deliver reliable performance. An additional side-mounted slide lock provides extra safety. The blades have a black coating, while the handles combine liners with fiber-reinforced nylon (FRN) finished in the moon-and-knob texture characteristic of Heckler & Koch military and government handgun grips.
