Biting, industrious, and efficient, fire ants are famed for their hard work and their painfully burning stings. The Boker Plus Fire Ant brings those defining traits to everyday cutting tasks. It features a drop-point blade of corrosion-resistant 1.4116 steel with a toxic satin finish. The knife only readies its powerful bite when the flipper is engaged, and a double-detent ball mechanism keeps the blade securely open; two liner-mounted balls press against the opened blade and it can be closed again by overcoming the clamping resistance. Textured fire-red polypropylene handle scales provide excellent grip, and several worker-ant motifs are integrated into the black stabilizing backspacer, the tweezers, and the reversible tip-up clip.
