Boker Plus Hermod 2.0

For nine long days the Norse god Hermod rode through the dark valleys of the underworld to reclaim his brother Balder, but his plea was denied, leaving only memory and a magic ring Odin had placed on his son’s grave. Had Dirk Hofmeister of Midgard's Knives been a Nordic blacksmith, that saga might have taken a different turn. Today he presents the Boker Plus Hermod 2.0, a practical outdoor knife that also serves as a rescue and survival tool. It features a stonewashed D2 blade with full-tang construction and a high bevel for excellent cutting performance despite the stout blade. The ergonomic, contoured handle scales are made from black G10 for a secure grip in cold conditions or when wearing gloves, and pronounced jimping at the thumb rest and handle end improves safety. The knife accommodates easily printed alternate handle scales in many shapes, colors and materials, and is supplied with a glass breaker, lanyard hole, custom-fit Kydex sheath and a convenient belt adapter.
