Designed to tackle even the toughest cutting tasks, the Hermod Folder is powerful, practical and exceptionally well made. The blade is D2 steel with a stonewash finish and runs on ball bearings for smooth deployment. The ergonomic handle is CNC-milled G10 with a non-slip diagonal mosaic texture and a right-side tip-up pocket clip. Opening is via a nail nick and the blade secures with a strong liner lock. A cotter pin/forelock—evocative of a grenade pin—is screwed into the front of the handle to improve safety during use and transport, helping prevent accidental opening or closing. Jimping along the spine of the blade continues across the full length of the handle and liners for excellent grip. The lanyard hole includes an integrated glass breaker, and the knife comes with a quality nylon sheath, embodying the spirit of Nordic blacksmithing.'
