Condor Ötzi Knife

'In 1991 a glacier mummy was found in South Tyrol. Celebrated as a sensation and affectionately named Ötzi, the discovery became a treasure trove for archaeologists and early-history researchers. At his death the Neolithic hunter carried a knife made from a flint blade set in a wooden handle. Inspired by that artifact, designer Joe Fowlers created the Condor Ötzi Knife: a contoured, rough-forged 1095 carbon-steel blade with a wooden handle wrapped twice in brass wire. The piece resembles a small hand axe—compact yet robust and stripped to the essentials, from an era when a knife was vital for daily survival. A handmade leather sheath completes this archaic and distinctive cutting tool.'
