'The distinctive Boker P08‑Damascus boot dagger uniquely links cutlery craftsmanship with military history. Inspired by the legendary P08—also called the Parabellum or Luger—the original pistol remains celebrated for its precision and reliability. Georg Luger’s toggle (knee‑joint) lock with short recoil made the P08 unusually compact and robust, and the 9 mm Luger (9x19 NATO), developed for the pistol, was one of the most powerful short‑arm calibres of its time and remains the world’s most widely used service cartridge. Adopted as the standard sidearm by German forces in both world wars, the Luger also saw early international use (by 1914 it was in the armies of Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Portugal and Turkey) and became a highly prized trophy through the end of World War II. Producing the compact pistol required about 14 kilograms of steel and such exacting design tolerances that it drove advances in manufacturing; its unmistakable silhouette has secured an iconic place in popular culture.\n\nThe Boker P08‑Damascus echoes the pistol’s aesthetic while offering a bespoke blade: a unique Damascus steel blade forged from the pistol’s barrel steel and handworked in a boomerang pattern by Chad Nichols. The boot dagger’s compact handle scales are crafted from certified imported rosewood and recall the simple checkering of the Luger grip; they are mounted with the same screw construction as the original pistol, and the angled handle sides mirror the exposed barrel’s taper. Steel bolsters and a steel end cap are finished in a dark stonewash. The dagger comes with a high‑quality black leather sheath equipped with a sewn‑in Ulticlip and locking spring clip for secure carry and effortless draw. Handmade at the Boker Knife Manufactory in Solingen, each piece is supplied with an elegant floating display, a certificate of authenticity and an individual serial number.'
