'Named after the mythical bird that burned and rose from its ashes, this Phoenix Damascus sword is a masterpiece of fine craftsmanship. Its blade, made from 200 layers of Damascus steel, displays an elegant, discreet pattern. The traditionally wrapped handle features genuine manta ray skin underlays and is embellished with two gold Menukis; the blade is secured in the handle with two menugi pins. All metal fittings are decorated with Phoenix motifs. The wooden saya has been carefully varnished and finished with a clear coat. For display or collection only — not suitable for use.'
