This double-headed axe was originally used by woodcutters, who benefited from always having a sharp blade at hand—one edge for heavy chopping and the other for finer work. Today it is mainly used by enthusiasts in throwing competitions. Hand-forged from carbon steel at Hults Bruk, whose forging tradition dates back to 1697, the axe is named after Bo Wetterhall, the company’s longest-serving employee. The curved handle is made of shock-resistant American hickory for comfortable, low-fatigue use, and the axe comes with a high-quality leather sheath.
