United Cutlery The Sword of Aragorn - Andúril

Aragorn II was born to Arathorn and Gilraen in Eriador and was raised in Rivendell by Elrond after his father\'s death. Only when he turned twenty did Elrond reveal his true name and the responsibilities that came with it; Aragorn also received the Ring of Barahir and the shards of Narsil. Prior to the War of the Ring he had Narsil reforged and renamed Andúril, the Flame of the West—a difficult task accomplished only by the Noldor in Rivendell, who followed ancient rituals. Although he was proclaimed King Elessar during the march to the Black Gate, his coronation occurred after the battle. During his reign Gondor prospered: peace and trade agreements were made, numerous alliances formed, and even the Oath of Eorl was renewed.\n\nThis high-quality replica of the legendary sword features a substantial pommel and an extended crossguard. The inscription on the 420J2 stainless steel blade reads: "I am Andúril, once Narsil, sword of Elendil. Let me free the slaves of Mordor." The grip is wrapped in fabric. The sword is delivered with an elegant wall display and a certificate of authenticity. Decorative collector’s item—not suitable for use.
