'For years customers have admired our collectible Boker Tirpitz-Damascus, and its popularity inspired a new model using historic Tirpitz steel. The Boker Tirpitz-Damascus Wood has an approximately 10 mm thickness and a flatter, more refined profile. Its elegant lines are complemented by full-length domestic walnut handle scales; the matte wood is CNC-milled with three-dimensional contours. The Tirpitz coat of arms and name are proudly displayed on the front.\n\nThe Tirpitz, sister ship to the legendary Bismarck, was the largest battleship commissioned by the German Navy. After World War II, a Norwegian company salvaged parts of the wreck off the coast of Norway so the highly alloyed steel could be reused; Norwegian divers recovered armor plates specifically for Boker. Our Damascus smith forged these historic pieces into an exclusive steel. The hand-forged Damascus blade shows a 300-layer "Great Pyramid" pattern, making this knife a standout in any collection. Combining Tirpitz alloy with carbon tool steel produces exceptionally durable Damascus with a Rockwell hardness of 61–63 HRC, well suited to everyday use.\n\nThe blade opens with a nail nick and is secured by a 1.5 mm liner lock. It comes equipped with a tip-up pocket clip and is delivered in a high-quality transparent display case with a certificate and serial number.'
